THE JACK'S MAGIC YELLOW TREATMENT
(For removing yellow mustard algae)
To remove visible yellow or mustard algae. All doses are per 10k gallons of water.
1. Brush all areas affected by algae. Vacuum any loose or remaing visible algae.
2. Apply 4oz. of THE YELLOW STUFF per 10k gallons as close to the affected areas as possible. For severe
accumulations double the above dosage.
3. Apply 1lb. of Non-Chlorine Oxidizer or Calcium Hypochlorite per 10k gallons directly on top of where THE
YELLOW STUFF was added to activate the treatment. Please note: We do not recommend using Dy-Chlor as
part of this process.
4. Brush to mix. Please note: Water may temporarily take on a yellowish tint when the treatment is initially applied.
this is only temporary and normal water clarity should return after the treatment is completed.
5. Remove the brush head from your pole and place it on the top pool step to be treated as well.
6. Circulate the pool continuously for 24 hours.
7. Brush and shock pool using 1lb. of calcium hypochlorite per 10k gallons of pool water.
8. An application of another shock treatment may be required to bring chlorine back to its appropriate level.
9. It is recommended to backwash after treatment is complete.
